1. Buffy the Vampire Slayer (Sci Fi/Fantasy): Season 3.
Homecoming (05). I love the bonding between Buffy and Cordelia in this episode and how Cordelia starts to understand what Buffy's life really must be like. And when you're the Slayer, how important it is to have moments of teenage normalcy. And I love when the episodes end with a little snark
Band Candy (06). As much as I love everyone else in this episode, Anthony Stewart Head takes the cake. Giles and Joyce crack me up and, when she pulls out the handcuffs for Buffy to use? HILARIOUS and SO AWKWARD. Love it.
Revelations (07).
Lovers Walk (08). Spike says it all: "I may be love's bitch, but at least I'm man enough to admit it." ♥
The Wish (09). The beginnings of Anya... I forgot how she thought Xander was a total loser at first. Ha. Funny how your "clique" in high school doesn't really mean anything - I love how Joss sticks in little commentaries on life in the funniest little ways. Such a genius!
Amends (10). First of all, I love any of the episodes with Angel/us backstory. I always find that interesting. After watching this episode, it's no wonder Angel got his own series following Buffy. David Boreanaz really shows his acting chops here and the magic of the snowfall at the end of the episode is so poetic. Yeah, it's cheesy, but I like cheese. :P
Gingerbread (11).
Helpless (12). This is one of my favourite episodes because it really develops Buffy as a full character and shows a lot of the relationship between her and Giles, what it really means for him to be her Watcher and gives an appreciation for how hard his job must be.
The Zeppo (13). Poor Xander! He really is a valuable member of the Scoobies, even if he isn't some supernatural being. Too bad it takes this long for him to realize it.
