I think I have a copy of Outlander I could send. I'll see about getting one in paperback if I can.

The Young Wizards Series is fantastic. It starts with So You Want to Be a Wizard, and goes from there. I loved them because it incorporates science elements, spriritual elements, and just good solid worldbuilding. I cried more reading those stories, and their buildup to eventual deaths, than any of the deaths in HP.

Diane Duane has a website for it, as does Diana Gabaldon. Should check them out!

Hmm. Let me see what I can dig up. Today and tomorrow there's a book sale on campus (I think), so I might be able to get something then.

Haven't finished the app yet, but I wanted to check before I got too attached - has anyone applied for Lavender Brown at post-bellum? I don't want to put everything together if she's already taken!
